Statement of Beliefs

 We believe:

  • That there is only one Elohim, which is Almighty Yahuweh. Written as YHWH and pronounced Yahuweh, or in its short forms Yahweh or Yah. In Deuteronomy 6:4 YHWH states: "Hear, O Israel – YHWH is your Elohim – YHWH is ONE (ECHAD). In Deuteronomy 32:39 YHWH says: "See now that I am HE, AND there is no god besides Me"
  • That YHWH reveals Himself in many ways, characteristics and personalities, which includes but are not limited to the Heavenly Father, Yahushua the Son, the Word, the Messiah, the Angel or Messenger of YHWH and the Set Apart Spirit (Ruakh HaQodesh). The short form of Yahushua is Yahshua
  • That Yahshua is part of YHWH and is the Physical Image of the Invisible Elohim YHWH. He is the Messiah who died for the sins of the world and rose from the dead to give assurance of both our forgiveness and everlasting life. In John 8:24 Yahshua says: "I said therefore to you, that you shall die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am HE, you shall die in your sins. He also said in John 10:30 that "I and the Father are one". In 1 Tim 3:16 we read "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory".
  • That Yahshua was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life in accordancewith the (Torah) Commandments of Elohim. He was crucified for the atonement of His people and was resurrected on the third day, ascended to heaven from where He will return to usher in the Kingdom of YHWH and will rule the world from Jerusalem.
  • That the Bible, which include both the old and the new Testaments (Covenants) is the divinely inspired and literal Word of YHWH as originally written.
  • That the Law, which includes the Ten Commandments as well as the 613 Laws stipulated in the first five books of the Bible should be observed by all those who want to worship YHWH our Elohim. The Law is the teachings of Elohim and we see them as the rules according to which we ‘live the game of life’. Keeping of the Law can not bring us salvation, as we know that salvation is the free gift of YHWH our Elohim, given to all those that love and obey Him. We show our love and obedience to YHWH by keeping His Commandments. These laws regulate moral precepts; dietary regulations; agricultural science; financial success; sexual behaviour; and religious practice.
  • That, as part of the commandments we keep the biblical Sabbath, being the seventh day of the week or Saturday according to the Gregorian calendar in use today. We also keep the biblical Holy Days, ordained by YHWH in Leviticus 23. These Holy Days depict YHWH's plan of salvation for all mankind and are commanded to be kept, forever. We also obey the Commandments regarding clean and unclean meats as specified by YHWH in Leviticus 11. We do this to show our obedience to YHWH and to remain set apart or Holy, as YHWH stated in Leviticus 11:45 "You shall be Holy for I am Holy".
  • That we should be proclaiming the good news of the Kingdom of YHWH as a witness to all nations and the return of Yahshua the Messiah to the earth to come and rule His people from Jerusalem for a thousand years. Those who believe and practice what Yahshua taught and who overcome, will rule with Yahshua for a thousand years.
  • That we as Nazarenes are watchmen over the people of Israel and specifically over Judah. We have a duty to proclaim the Messiah Yahshua, first to the Jews and then to the (Ephraimites and) Gentiles. As watchman we must let the light of Yahshua shine through us. We need to watch over the souls bestowed to us by YHWH and should always praise Him and make intercession for His people, asking Him to save the remnant of Israel.
  • That the key given to those who wish to enter the Kingdom of Heaven is as stated in Acts 4:12: "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other Name under heaven, given among men by which we must be saved." In John 10:9Yahshua said: "I am the Door; if anyone enters by Me, he will be saved". The disciple Peter, knew what the Key was, as Yahshua said to him in Matt 16:19 "I will give you the Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven". When asked what they should do, by those to whom he preached to in Acts 2:38: Peter said unto them, "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Yahshua Messiah for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Set Apart Spirit."
