Who Are We?

We are a Nazarene Fellowship. We are not Christian nor are we Jews for Jesus. Our membership consists of believers from both the Jewish and the Ephraimite Houses of Israel, and also includes Gentile believers.

Members may convert to Nazarene Judaism; however, this is a personal decision and is not required for salvation. Both Jewish and Gentile believers have the same standing in the Nazarene community. Conversion to Nazarene Judaism requires circumcision of Ephraimite and Gentile males, but is as mentioned not a requirement, but a personal decision.

We are associated with the Society for the Advancement of Nazarene Judaism, with its Head Quarters in Hurst, Texas, in the United States of America. As such we are Torah Observant and accept the rulings of the International Nazarene Beit Din. (http://www.nazarene.net/beitdin).

We are Yahwists in that we use the correct name of the Almighty so as not to break the third commandment, i.e. You are not to ("lash-shawv") use lightly, destroy or bring to naught, the name of YHVH your Elohim, by hiding, refusing to use, and purposely misspelling His name. Similarly we believe in the use of the correct divine name for Yahushua, the son of YHVH. He was a born Jew with a Jewish name. In Matthew 1: 21 we read about his birth, as follows: "And behold she will bear a son, and will call his name Yahshua; for he will save his people from their sins." (Yahshua means Yahuveh is Salvation). The name Jesus as he is known in the Christian world, was never His real name, and has no meaning.
